We are pleased to present you with this estate auction that boasts many fine antiques, bronzes, silver, many silverplate serving pieces, copper items, artwork, custom frame equipment & supplies and much more. Additionally, you will find coins, paper currency, new fishing items and knives.
Estate Auction of Paula McGlamery and the late Wylie McGlamery.
Paula is the daughter of the late Paul and Lu Gruenberg from Memphis, TN where since 1976 "The Paul Gruenberg Commercial Rehabilitation Award" has been given out to recognize the adaptive reuse of historical buildings in the Memphis area. Paul & Lu began the antique collection of western bronzes, the Wooten postal desk, coin glass, engraved pictures and much more. Many of the antiques in this estate came from Paul and Lu.
Paul created an exhibit that will be on permanent display at a The University Gallery College of Communications and Fine Arts at Memphis State University titled "Coming Home". The Gruenberg Collection of Miniature Interiors and Masterpiece Furniture were all hand crafted by Paul Gruenberg.
The collection of handmade dolls found in this estate were gathered from all around the world from Paula's aunt & uncle, Genelle & John Copeland. John was in the Army Corp of Engineers.
Before moving to Macon about 20 years ago, Paula & Wylie lived in Tennessee where they owned a high-end frame shop "The Hampton House". The estate auction includes all of the equipment and supplies from said frame shop.
We encourage you to come to inspection on Friday, February 16th to see all of the beautiful items in this auction. We have done our best to give good and accurate descriptions to the best of our knowledge. Please come to verify and inspect yourself. As with all auctions, items are sold "as is".
